7. Mizoram Inaugurates Arts Institute and Lays Foundations for Nine Development Projects

Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia announced a package of development projects valued at approximately Rs 350 crore during a visit to Mizoram on 12 October 2026. The minister inaugurated the Aizawl Institute of Arts and Music for the Northeastern Region at Tuivamit near Aizawl.

Foundation stones were laid virtually for nine additional projects in the presence of Chief Minister Lalduhoma.
