Mumbai-based Balisto Agritech has sold more than 30 battery-powered multipurpose agricultural machines, according to a YourStory report published on 13 October 2026. The company reported cumulative sales exceeding ₹60 lakh since June 2025. Its Balisto 130 Pro supports weeding, intercultivation, rotavating, earthing-up and trolley operations.

According to the company, 30 paying customers used the machines across more than 600 acres and saved an estimated 3,300 litres of diesel. These are company-reported cumulative figures, not independently audited fuel or farm-cost savings. The article did not provide crop-wise operating costs, battery electricity consumption, net farm income changes or a control-group comparison.

The single-battery version is priced at ₹2.5 lakh and the double-battery version at ₹3 lakh. Balisto reports a three-year battery warranty. Its Maharashtra dealer network handles sales and after-sales support. The equipment is manufactured in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, where the company reports a production capacity of 60 units per month, scalable to 150.

The machine uses detachable batteries, three motors, an electronic control unit and cloud-connected diagnostics. A remotely operated version is available, while autonomous operation using navigation sensors and GPS remained in development as of the report. The company stated a sales target of more than 200 machines by March 2027; that target is not an achieved result.
